Students drop off, and you do not know where. In this video you will see which part of a lesson people watch, which devices they use, and who is watching right now, so you know which lesson to fix. You need MediaShield Pro. It takes about three minutes. There are three steps. Open the heatmap. Compare devices. Then watch who is viewing now. Step one. Open the heatmap. In MediaShield, open Heatmaps. Pick a video in the list at the top right. Playback Engagement shows how many viewers reached each part of the video. Tall bars are watched by many. Short bars are where people leave or skip. Step two. Compare devices. Below the chart, Device Breakdown lists each device and browser, with sessions, users and average completion. If one device finishes far less than the others, the lesson may play badly there. Step three. Watch who is viewing now. Realtime counts the viewers watching right now, and refreshes by itself every fifteen seconds. Each row names the viewer, the video, how far along they are, their device, and how long they have watched. That is all three. The heatmap opened, devices compared, and live viewers watched. You can now see where a lesson loses people. Next in this series: Follow up with engaged students and report.
