Paste a YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia or Bunny Stream link, or upload a file to your own server. Every one plays in the same protected player.
You add a video to the library by pasting its address. MediaShield recognises the host and its video ID, so there is no platform to pick. Files can also be uploaded from the admin and stored on your own server, outside the media library, where the player streams them through a permission-checked address. HLS streams play in every browser; DASH is not supported.
Go to Videos > Add New, paste the link or upload a file, choose a protection level and save. Place it with the video block or the [mediashield] shortcode. Pro connects your Bunny, YouTube, Vimeo and Wistia accounts so you can browse and import whole libraries.
Uploads are capped by your server's upload limit, often 64 to 128 MB on shared hosting, which a long lesson can exceed. For files on your own server, the folder is locked by an .htaccess rule, which only Apache reads: on nginx the file can be fetched by its address unless you add the rule Site Health gives you. MediaShield does not transcode, so there is no quality selector; you get quality rungs only if your host makes them.
