Paid lessons get downloaded and shared. In this video you will protect your first video and put it on a page, so only the people who paid can watch it. You need the free MediaShield plugin. It takes about four minutes. There are five steps. Install and activate MediaShield. Find your way around. Run the setup wizard. Add your first video. Then put it on a page. Step one. Install and activate MediaShield. In your WordPress admin, open Plugins, and add MediaShield. Once it is active, the row shows Deactivate. Step two. Find your way around. MediaShield has its own menu. Dashboard counts your videos and sessions. Videos holds your library. Settings holds every protection rule. The rest of the list covers playlists, viewers, tags and milestones. Step three. Run the setup wizard. The wizard walks you through the first settings. It opens on Welcome to MediaShield, then General Settings. Save and Continue moves to the next step. Skip this step leaves it as it is. Step four. Add your first video. Add New Video opens this editor. Under Video Source, paste a Video URL, or upload a file. Protection Level sets how strongly it is protected. Then click Publish. Step five. Put it on a page. Embed This Video gives you a shortcode, a Gutenberg block and a PHP template. Copy the shortcode, and paste it into any page. Videos also has a Copy shortcode button on each row. That is all five.
